2. What sort of job and money can I expect?

There are heaps of different jobs at winter resorts; Lifties, kitchen work, waiting, front desk, housekeeping, customer service, retail and ski/snowboard instructors.  When looking for a winter resort job, 3 important things to look at are:

Pay
In general most winter resort jobs don’t pay much ($8-10), so don’t be too picky, but instructors generally get $2-3 more than other jobs.

Hours of work
A Job which allows you time to ride during lift hours is key! Many jobs you have the same hours as the lifts are open, which can be very frustrating. Ski and snowboard instructor jobs allow you to ride and work at the same time which is a massive bonus!

Pre arranged employment
For some jobs, employment can be arranged before you leave home.  This makes life much easier and less stressful and you can start earning straight away. You don’t want to be part of the made rush for jobs at the start of the season.
The most sort after winter resort job is Ski and Snowboard Instruction, you get better than average pay, riding time while at work, and still time to hit the pub after a day on the slopes! The problem is that getting an instructing job is really hard.

Thats why EA Ski and Snowboard’s internship is so popular, because you get training, instructor certifications and a guaranteed instructor job offer.

3. How much snow will there be???
