Lee is one of the lucky cats heading to the deep powder of Japan's Northern Island Hokkaido for the winter, to train and work as an EA ski instructor intern at Club Med Sahoro Resort.

Check out his first blog below as he prepares to jet off on the big trip from the sunhine of Staffordshire in the UK to the snowy peaks of Sahoro....

Hey all, my name is Lee, I am 28 years old and I will be taking part in the EA Level 1 Ski Internship Course in Japan.

I have spent the last 10 years in the Army and now I have the opportunity to do something completely different but also something that I will still enjoy.

I chose to become a ski instructor because I have loved skiing since I started when I was about 15 years old, on a family holiday. I have progressed and become technically better over time and want to continue that as well as help teach others to enjoy skiing at the same time.

We are looking forward to hearing Lee's next blogs, which will give us an insight into the pre-season training, the exam, and getting into working life as a ski instructor in one of the best snow-regions in the world!
