27th July 2014

Paul is currently living the dream as an EA ski instructor at Mt Hutt resort, New Zealand. They've got an awesome team there this season and we are loving hearing how well it's going!

Check out the latest update from Paul, who flew through his instructor training and exam and is now instructing!!

EA team at Mt Hutt this year!

I love my job has been a common phrase thrown around, but the fact is that it is true! Everyday you wake up, check the snow report and get ready and go for the staff bus. It always feels like its gonna be a long journey, in fact its 45 mins, plug in your headphones and relax....bump..bump...bump...the road can feel quite rough.

Above the clouds..

About halfway up the mountain road you get hit with an amazing sight, the sun bouncing off fresh snow and no matter how tired you feel there's an instant joy and satisfaction that happens and that when you say it 'I love my job'. Round the next few corners the mountain ski field appears and you cant wait to get into the staff room and see what you have lined up for the day, a school group, children, newbie skiers or people wanting a quick refresh.

Not a bad office view :)

The feeling that you get when someone turns from never seeing snow to 'I'm skiing, I'm skiing!' is brilliant, you sort of say to yourself ..."I did that!"

The EA group has all bonded really well and everyone is loving life, the staff party if coming up, fancy dress something beginning with T...hmm???

If a season surrounded by New Zealand powder is something you think you'd love to have, check out more here, or get in touch with the team at EA to find out more!!
