Let's check out how things are going with Sarah Hunter one of the EA interns training to become a qualified snowboard instructor at Norquay in Canada:

It's the day before out three-day exam and we have just got back from Mount Norquay after exploring the other half of the mountain that had been closed off up until now. It was great getting to try some completely new runs out and fit in some last minute practicing.

We have completed the 11 days of snowboard instructor training with our instructor Matt, and are now ready to put everything we have learnt together in order to take the CASI level 1 exam! It's a bit nerve-racking but we have been given some invaluable coaching so I am feeling well prepared. It has been fun acting as students and instructors so that we can deliver practice lessons to the rest of our group and get a real feel for what it is like to teach your own class. I can't wait to qualify, fingers crossed!
