Your Ultimate Winter - Meet Your New Boss

22nd June 2017
Big White Interns

When was the last time you got excited about the job you are doing? Or let’s say met up, hung out and skied or snowboarded with your boss for that matter?

Let’s be frank here. Not all jobs are created equal. You don’t get excited about getting out of bed for in the morning for every job. Which is perfectly normal. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

If you are keen to contain yourself within the cubicle you are in just dreaming of how to get through each working week, then this probably isn’t the right thing for you to be reading. However, if you feel there is more to life and are curious to see how your mate that keeps bragging about how they are having the time of their lives chases winters yearlong, then read on.

EA Ski and Snowboard operates an industry leading internship program every season in resorts throughout Canada and the world. An internship is the only way you can receive an international certification and guaranteed job instructing in your first season on the snow.

EA’s Internship programs were born out of what we have found to be a common thread we keep hearing directly from the Snow School Directors of the most sought after international snow sport schools worldwide.

“Our Snow School receives hundreds of applications every season. Outside the EA Internship program, we don’t look at anyone unless they have a level 2 certification and at least one season experience behind them.”

Josh Foster, School Director at Big White Resort, Canada

This is often a position that affects a lot of people in the industry each year. You want a job working at one of the best resorts in the world, but the reality is you are in a very competitive industry where Snow School Directors want to ensure they get those that have prior experience.

On the 28th June, we are hosting a free live question and answer session with the Snow School Director of Big White, Josh Foster.

Join us for this exclusive free insight especially for you to ask anything about working in the industry, and how an internship can turn your winter dreams into a reality. Places are strictly limited so please make sure you reserve your place here

Josh Foster is one of Canada’s most regarded and influential personalities in the instructing industry. He has represented Canada at the pinnacle of an Instructor’s international recognition – the Interski congress and is host to a regular series of ski tips online as well as his role as the Snow School Director.

We hope you can join us while we host Josh Foster next week!
