Our Ski Instructor Course at Mt Hutt New Zealand is one of a kind. We have partnered with Mount Hutt Ski School to offer a unique opportunity for you to get top training and step straight into a paid instructor job in New Zealand.

Here is your chance to spend June to September shredding the slopes in the land of the long white cloud! Mt Hutt is one of New Zealand’s leading resorts and has one of the largest vertical drops in the Southern Hemisphere. It is known for its epic expansive terrain and being 100% above the tree line creates a stunning opportunity to ride in open bowls, double black diamond chutes and wide open groomed runs!

The resorts laid back kiwi style atmosphere tops it off and is evident everywhere, particularly in the parking lot where Cantabrians regularly set up portable BBQ’s to cook their lunch! You will be trained by some of the worlds best, as many top trainers migrate to Mt Hutt during the Northern hemispheres summer.

And don’t forget the views! From the top of Mt Hutt these are breathtaking. Nothing beats looking straight down the southern Alps where some of the Lord of the Rings was filmed!

Accommodation

Accommodation in Methven is centrally located, literally around the corner from both the famous brown and blue pub – also very close to shops and laundry facilities. The accommodation is twin share and has kitchen and living facilities with a mint fireplace to keep your toes warm and to toast marshmallows! At this stage the accommodation in the above photos is indicative and may change depending on availability. Please note linen is not provided.

Living at Mt Hutt

Methven is the closest township to Mt Hutt. Located at the bottom of the hill Methven is a pumping little ski town that really comes to life in winter. During the snow season the atmosphere is buzzing day and night with a couple of famous true kiwi style pubs. You will be calling Methven home in no time and you will not want to leave!!
