A short drive from crazy Tokyo and 10m+ annual snowfalls.
EA Ski and Snowboard are lucky to have Internship programs based at Naeba Resort, in Yuzawa, Niigata district.
Naeba is one of Japan’s most visited resorts since it is the closest big mountain to Tokyo. It gets around 10m of snowfall per year putting it on the top ten list for big mountain snowfall in Japan.
Naeba is a small snow school located in the heart of the southern Japanese Alps, in the center of Japan. Importantly meaning the snow has had time to lose a lot of its moisture content before dumping sweet dry pow on the Mt Naeba mountain range!
Naeba is easily accessible from Tokyo, approximately 90 minutes from the center of Tokyo! This makes it a popular destination for day-trippers, weekend breaks and tourists visiting Japan who not only want to ski but also want the chance to travel around Japan.
