The closest Resort to Banff township this is a fantastic place to spend a winter season. When you first roll up to Mt. Norquay the first runs you see are a quintet of super-steep, mogul-studded freefalls served by the original Norquay double chair. Hardcore Norquay regulars reckon no runs anywhere can match Upper Lone Pine and Gun Run, a dynamite black-diamond duo. The homely 24,000 square foot lodge offers a mean hot chocolate when it’s cold outside.
