EA is proud to offer ski and snowboard instructor training at Revelstoke in British Columbia, Canada. 400 miles east of Vancouver, Revelstoke Mountain Resort is the only resort in the world to offer lift, cat, heli, and backcountry skiing and snowboarding from one village base. And if you’re looking for powder and lots of it, then this really is the place to find it – historical annual snowfall is a whopping 12 to 18 metres, yes that’s 40 to 60 feet per season!
Revelstoke Mountain Resort opened in December 2007, so it’s brand spanking new in terms of resorts, and offers the best of the best in terms of facilities and terrain!

Accommodation for all EA programs is conveniently located in the heart of Revelstoke, just 1 minute walk to the bus stop for the Revelstoke Mountain Resort Shuttle and 5 minutes walk into town.
- Twin share rooms
- Self catering kitchen with dining room
- The units are semi-furnished – Living room furniture, beds and cooking utensils are included, however you will need to arrange your own pillow, towels and sheets and comforter. These can be all be purchased locally
- Laundry facilities are available for use within the condominium
LIVING AND WORKING IN REVELSTOKE
Revelstoke is a but small, lively, locals town packed with cool little bars and lively music scene. It has a typical interior BC big mountain vibe - people are there for the back country... you'll meet some gnarly skiers and boarders here! Less touristy than other spots, Revelstoke is a great place to use as a base to explore other amazing resorts nearby such as Kicking Horse and Golden.
Pay rates for instructors at the Revelstoke Outdoor Centre are approximately $10/hour for a Level 1 certified instructor and $12/hour for a level 2 certified instructor.
EA program participants are lucky to have Andreas as their on ground Rep at Revelstoke. If you can keep up with him he will show you some sweet places to ski and ride, and also knows where all the deals can be found down town.
