Squaw Valley
Squaw Valley at Tahoe Overview
Squaw Valley is world famous for it’s extreme terrain and it is little wonder that Squaw Valley USA attracts and breeds some of the best skiers and snowboarders in the world. Nicknamed “Squallywood” for the number of ski and snowboarding celebrities that call the mountain home – you might just get to rub shoulders with some of the big names in industry or at least see them in action on the slopes!
Not only that but most of the beginner terrain is at the top of the mountain! (Not a bunny slope at base-camp) – just think you could be instructing newbie’s on how to make their first turns whilst checking out the view of Lake Tahoe and the High Sierra – Not bad, for a view from your office!
Top that off with a near 500” of snowfall each season making it possible for the resort to remain open until almost the end of May every winter. There are some wicked spring skiing days to be had!
