You will join a tight knit mountain team, with your season starting in late November. Your training will include preparation for work in another department alongside the ski school. Through the season you will job share between ski school and another department at Marmot. This gives you more hours and experience.
Ski instructor work is primarily with international school groups but you could be working with any clients day to day.
Accommodation is covered as part of your course until after the level 1 exam. Once you start work the cost for this will come directly out of your wage. Accommodation is staff mixed share style and is close to the mountain.
EA Ski and Snowboard Training want you to have the best season possible this winter at Marmot Basin. We have one program manager who oversees the running of our instructor courses who is easily contactable and there to offer advice and support at all times. Not only are they familiar with the area, but they also usually work for the ski school and will be a familiar face to make your gap year and first winter season that much easier.

Our Ski Instructor Internships allow you to obtain a globally recognised qualification with the PSIC (Ski).
The PSIC qualification is highly regarded in the industry and a qualification with the Canadian system will build your technical understanding and allow you to effectively instruct skiing.
